Beads are shatterproof low density polyethylene 1.5" long with a 0.07" wall thickness and 0.375" outside diameter. Beads, alternate in light and dark colors to enhance visibility, and are strung over a 0.125" diameter braided nylon cord (16 strand) that is held in the handles with figure eight knots.
